Meet Ron – On Dialysis Until a Transplant
Ron, a renowned choir director, was diagnosed with kidney failure after his diabetes doctor suspected Ron was experiencing kidney problems. Ron shares his story of beginning dialysis and taking on new challenges, such as diet and fluid changes. Ron is still able to do what he loves—like fishing, taking weekend trips and playing the organ at church every Sunday. In 2018, Ron received a kidney transplant from his daughter.
